Although the Eastern Cape is a relatively isolated and lonely area, it is an Adventurer’s paradise! Its very isolation creates the magic around which the region (and its glorious, yet tough, coastline) thrives: solitude, quiet, largely undamaged natural environments, as well as small towns that are welcoming to visitors. The region is also painted with a wide tapestry of cultural influences, from the Settlers to the local Xhosa who have lived here for centuries.

The BULL of Africa 2008 will take some of the best teams on Earth on a journey right into the very heart of this magical wilderness where they will discover and explore the richness of this rugged land.

As a member of the AR World Series, BULL of Africa is a qualifying event for the Adventure Race World Championship. The AR World Series is an international circuit of premiere adventure races representing 12 countries creating a 12 month calendar of professional events around the world.
